What an informative and lifesaving evening!

Two caring and dedicated South Eugene High School parents gave over fifty parents and students the gift of a panel of experts on eating disorders and body image at Parent Council's second Parent Education Series on November 1st. Dr. Pilar Bradshaw, a SEHS alumna, presented information on the signs and symptoms of an eating disorder and gave incredibly helpful information on what to do if you suspect that your student or someone in your life might have an eating disorder. We also heard from Jeff Hess, SEHS cross country and track coach and his important advice on speaking up when you believe that someone has an eating disorder.

South Eugene's Health Clinic staff have valuable information for parents and students on what to do if you think that someone you love may have an eating disorder. We also encourage you to bring this to the attention of the SEHS Counselors, coaches or any staff member.
Thank you to the parents who cared enough to attend to learn and listen and to our panel of experts. It was a most meaningful evening!
